FieldCore - Pakistan - Description Job Summary: The IT Specialist provides detailed reporting during outage to all managers (daily status reports) and upon completion of outage (Outage Major Issues, Lessons Learned, Suggestions for Improvement). The role has in charge monitoring the system performance and provide security measures, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed, Logs issues, hardware/software into bug tracking software. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring video traffic from site Respond quickly to requests for support from other E-IVVI personnel in regards to E-IVVI computer systems. Provide detailed reporting during outage to managers (daily status reports) and upon completion of outage (Outage Major Issues, Lessons Learned, Suggestions for Improvement). Monitor system performance and provide security measures, troubleshooting... and maintenance as needed. Logs issues, hardware/software into bug tracking software Perform other duties as assigned Travel may be required Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments Required Qualifications & Experience: High School Graduate or equivalent. Ability to obtain unescorted access at Nuclear Power Plants. Desired Characteristics: Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware / software Networking knowledge, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Cisco Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP Professional Some Experience with Red Hat Enterprise or other Linux variant Ability to restore workstations from cloned disk images Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and complete multiple projects within time constraints Strong organizational skills About FieldCore: FieldCore, a GE company, is an independent, industrial field services organization focused... - Permanent - Full-time
